Fabio Sansalone:

How and when did you discover your love for music?

-(Angelo) Since I was a child. My father taught me to play guitar when I was 9 years old, and to listen to the real music. I started with Black Sabbath!!!

The artwork of an album is something very important you know, it can be the very first impression for a new fan.  What do you want to convey/communicate with yours?

-(Angelo)Our latest album is called “Atomoxetine”. The Atomoxetine is a drug that is used to fight the deficit of attention. We wanted to represent the situation unhealthy, twisted behavior of some of our brain, which, to our time, it is subject to constant media washes, forced indoctrination, afraid of journalistic bombing with true or false news... the results are frightening: adults, young children, completely hypnotized and kidnapped by a stupid phone, living in the darkness of slavery / silent control, deprived of passion and vitality. Apathetic brains. It's frustrating.

Do you have any kind of “target project”?  I mean, what is your dream, your main ambition in music? How do you imagine yourself in five years?

-(Angelo) Reaching more potential listeners, and reaffirm the importance of the true underground music: THE GRINDCORE

Which is the instrument from which the creative process comes out first? What is the first instrument you play when you’re writing a song? And who does usually writes the songs?

-(Angelo) Yes, it’s my guitar!!! Generally I take care of the composition of songs and lyrics. I bring all ideas in our rehearsal room and we try to play the riffs together. And here then we find the best solutions for each individual part. About the lyrics, sometimes I enjoy having help from old friends. In Atomoxetine, the lyrics of "Satisfy My Hunger" were written by Pamela of MEFITICA, a dear friend of ours. Instead "Memory May Kill The Need", was written by Andrea Ferretti, a great character, a poet of our city. The text has its own little tribute to our beloved NEGAZIONE.

Edoardo Napoli:

What’s the element which could best lead people to listen precisely to your music, given a so strong competition in music business?

-(Angelo) The genuineness! It’s the most important thing!

Sandro Accardi:

Do you live thanks to your music? If it’s not so, what’s your job?

-(Angelo) I work as a teacher of modern guitar, in different schools in my city. Fortunately, my job is  music! The other guys in the band have different jobs: tworker, teacher in junior high school, graphic designer.

What kind of sound effects do You use when you play your Music? Are They The same you use when you're recording in studio?

-(Angelo) We do not use any type of effect. What we use in the studio is the same that we carry on stage. Only sometimes we change some guitar models or amplifiers, but generally we used Mesa and Ampeg amps in studio and on stage. The only exception are the triggers that often we used to record, but do not have them with us on stage.

Mystisk Død:

What's the story behind your name and, if you have it, your artwork?

-(Angelo)  The right name is important! Today there are a lot of bands, and with a good and easy to remember  kind of name, maybe you can stand out of the "mass." The name of the band derives from German language and it means "envy." It is short and easy to remember! Lately we have been working with Olinokus, an Asian illustrator .... one of the best of its kind !!! The cover artwork for ATOMOXETINE is AMAZING!!!

Silvia Agnoloni:

How do you think to find support in Italy purposing yourself here?

-(Angelo)  In Italy, sometimes we miss the opportunity of more live situations ... we know it’s like that and we don’t want to make a drama about it! Fortunately there are many bands of friends, a "scene still exists". Often we organize concerts ourselves! We never stop!!!

What do you think of the discographic Italian system?

-(Angelo) We believe in this statement: “the first label of the band is the band itself”. With a strong dose of tenacity, commitment and passion, you can go a long way, trust me!!! I invite readers to go and look to our YouTube channel, there you will find various tour reports!! Today, we are proud to have signed a contract with Sliptrick Record, one of the few remaining labels, ready to publish extreme music band, allowing us complete artistic freedom!

Polverone Liz:

1)Can you introduce some influences from rock band that you like in the music that you sing?

-(Angelo) - Our roots come, obviously from punk -hardcore ... from the old school Italian scene !!! The list is long:   Negazione,  Wretched,   Indigesti,  Rappresaglia,  Raw Power,   Declino, Crash Box,  Peggio Punx,   Kina, Nabat…

2)Do you believe in god? Do you approve the christian message or do you try to separate it from you writing satanic lyrics in anti-christian way?

-(Angelo) We don’t write satanic lyrics. Our kind of writing, is more thoughtful, it comes from personal, introspective concepts. Our brains in our times is bombed, prone to constant media washing, forced to indoctrination, frightened by "avalanches" of journalistic news may them be real or false. On many of our records, we have dealt with topics such as, MK ULTRA, Noam Chomsky's study (ten rules about mind control). We just wanted to point out and remind everyone that in our heads, there is an organ called  "brain", well, Let’s try to use it!

Curse Vag:

If you have to bound a feeling to your album for describe it, wich may be it?

-(Angelo) It’s not a feeling, it is a statement: .... SPEED…. SPEED IN YOUR FUCKING FACE !!!

Roberto Bertero:

When you decided to build a band which bands motivates you to do it?

-(Angelo) All italian hardcore / punk scene from the 80's and his important D.I.Y. message. It is a state of mind for us!

Nicole Clark:

Do you have different or similar musical backgrounds?

-(Angelo) Very similar!!! We can declare that,  our god is called SLAYER!!!!!!!!!! Hahhahahah!!!!

Michele Puma:

What do you thing of bands those introduces political thinking in theirs lyrics? Do you think that politic idea (but religious too) may influence the nature of a band that discover the underground work and then the mainstream?

- (Angelo) If there had not been a riotous way of thinking, Grind (and Hardcore) music, would not have existed. The need to destroy political and musical myths can be seen in an album called "SCUM". The message is this: Use your brain !!! Follow this example!!!

And now to close the interview…
